Third Sunday of Lent
The call of God is always to become more like Jesus in how we treat his people. We know our failings: the call to repent in today’s gospel is also the promise of God’s forgiveness for our failings and sins.

The gift of God’s love and the following of Jesus is offered to all of us by God. It is a gift we struggle with, as evil in the world tempts us to live in Selfishness. Lent, and today’s gospel, reminds us of the glory of our calling to follow in Jesus’ ways.
Peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving parents, brother and family.
Alex will be very sadly missed by his heartbroken parents David and Nicola, brother Dylan, sister in law Laura, grandparents Philip, Florrie and Michael, niece Bella, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, wonderful carers and friends. |
What do we have to show for all the love God has shown us? Are our words full of bitterness or sweetness?

It is all too easy to trust in our own possessions – and the more we have the easier it is. But they are all temporary. If we put our trust in the Resurrection and live in its spirit then we shall inherit eternal life.
