Jesus found much rejection of his message, especially in his own town. The follower of Jesus will find rejection and even mockery of his meassage. Those who work for goodness and for justice will experience persecution for their faith and action. We pray to be true to our calling in the gospel.
Each Sunday liturgy is like a wedding feast in which Jesus is the bridegroom showing his love for us, – his bride – by providing food adn drink for our innermost needs.
