Advent calls on us, as we await the birth of Jesus to be a light for all who hunger for justice, peace and truth.
The end of time is a time of confidence when God will return to his people to call us home to him.

The selfless generosity of the two women in today’s readings is but a sign of God’s generosity in giving himself in his Son, Jesus Christ.
We too are called to give all that we have and trust that God will look after us.
