(World Day for Consecrated Life)
Forty days ago Jesus was born: now we see him as the light to enlighten all peoples and to guide them on the way to salvation and glory.
World Day for Migrants and Refugees (Christian Unity Week)
The Christian life is a calling from God to be companions of Jesus and work for the spread of his love and justice. All of us are asked to do this in our own lives.
This is the feast of Jesus receiving from his Father the calling and mission which he followed through in his life, death and resurrection. We too are baptised into a similar relationship with God in Christ.
