The bread of life-the Body of Christ-is often called 'food for the journey'.
Jesus' mission is one of healer; our prayer and relationship with him is one which heals past bitterness, guilt, grudges and anger.
The joy that Jesus promises is the joy that we find in the type of love which is his.
Today is a day of prayer to deepen our own sense of vocation and to pray to the Lord to call men and women into a life of ministry and service within a religious life.
